Defending Those Who Defend America
Eric Roper has 15 years of experience representing the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. Prior to starting his own law firm, Mr. Roper served 9 years on active duty as a Navy Judge Advocate and currently holds the rank of Commander in the Reserve Component of the Navy’s JAG Corps. He has extensive experience in military law, representing hundreds of clients facing court-martial, administrative separation hearings, Boards of Inquiry, and other adverse personnel actions.
Experience and Knowledge To Make a Difference
Whatever your case, Mr. Roper has the skill and experience to advise you about how to protect your legal rights. If you’re facing criminal charges, you need a military defense lawyer who knows the system and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
While you are entitled to the appointment of a free military defense attorney, you also have the right to retain your own civilian counsel—someone who will work hard with your military counsel to achieve the best possible outcome in your case. As a civilian, Mr. Roper will be your independent advocate both in and out of the courtroom. He has represented clients in high profile and media-intensive cases, as well as those requiring discretion and confidentiality.
Free Initial Consultation
Mr. Roper has the background, reputation, legal knowledge, and skills needed to represent you in any military legal matter. Until you speak with an experienced military defense attorney who will aggressively fight for your rights, you should not talk about your case with anyone. This includes criminal investigators, members of your command, friends, and family.
Mr. Roper offers a free initial consultation so that you can ask any questions you may have and discuss your case in a confidential setting with an experienced military defense lawyer.
